The DIESELMATIC NVT’s patented ether starting fluid system is specially designed for compatibility with modern ECM engines. This revolutionary unit is fully automatic and plugs directly into the “Starting Fluid” port on the engine’s Electronic Control Module—no separate interface required.
The DIESELMATIC NVT is activated by the signal from the ECM based on vital engine information (speed, temperature, etc.) to deliver starting fluid more precisely than any other injection system on the market today. The fully integrated metering orifice and filter have been totally re-engineered, setting a new standard in performance and reliability.

Ether Cylinders
Dirt and Moisture Seal
Kold-Ban ether cylinders feature a unique O-Ring seal that protects the valve from accumulating dirt and moisture that would otherwise cause clogging and malfunction. The O-Ring seal also provides easier installation of new cylinders by preventing the old one from “welding” to the valve.
Protective Cap & Valve Gasket
Each cylinder comes with a protective cap and replacement valve gasket. The protective cap guards cylinder threads from damage and prevents dirt entry during storage or shipping. The valve gasket ensures a proper seal and prevents starting fluid leakage when threading the cylinder onto a non-NVT valve.
Important Note:
NVT valves do not use a valve gasket. The removable valve gasket should NOT be installed when replacing NVT ether cylinders. Always use a new valve gasket when replacing cylinders on non-NVT systems.
Ether Cylinder Recycling Program
Kold-Ban leads the industry in environmental responsibility with a comprehensive ether cylinder recycling program. We provide all required documents and procedures to ensure proper disposal of used cylinders, alleviating any concerns about environmental impact.

Contact Kold-Ban at (800) 527-8278 for a Return Authorization Number. We’ll provide labels and documentation for shipment.
Prepare Shipment
Use original cartons if possible. Pack used DOT39NRC ether cylinders securely for freight prepaid shipping to Kold-Ban.
No Processing Fees
When purchasing an equal number of Kold-Ban ether cylinders (or providing proof of purchase), there are no recycling fees.

- All cylinders must be shipped freight prepaid
- High pressure cylinders that are not ether cylinders will NOT be accepted
